Chain Hoists

Electric chain hoists have an induction motor and a brake to ensure the load is held when lifting (enabling heavy objects/loads to be lifted safely). The motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy which can then lift the load/weight.

They typically consist of a chain, a motor, a hook or other lifting mechanism, and housing or frame to contain the components. These are designed to provide a high level of lifting capacity while remaining compact and easy to use. They are generally less expensive than electric chain hoists but require more physical effort from the operator. Industrial Chain Hoists are typically mounted to a fixed point or trolley and can be operated with a handheld pendant or remote control.
